Hey everyone, I'm in the early stages of building a "PC in a desk" concept that seems increasingly popular.

Attached is a google sketchup doc of a crude basic layout that I made, with everything to scale give or take a few millimeters. I have a few questions/concerns hence why I've come here seeking advice.

1)  I plan on using 3/4 inch birch plywood for the bottom of the desk and the sides, does anyone have a reason this wouldn't work or there is a better alternative?

2) I'm using tempered glass as the top of my desk. what thickness will I need? the biggest gap between supports for the glass will be a little under 2 feet. Do i need 3/8? 1/2? could I get away with 1/4? I dont plan on setting anything on the desk past a mouse keyboard and a few monitors.

3)will my 2 intake fans (3x120mm each) be enough, and will 2 240mm rads be enough exhaust? my concern is the HDDs on the right side of the desk with no air flow really.

4)will there be any issues with my loop the way I have it drawn it out? apart from filling and bleeding will be a bitch but thats with any horizontal res setup.

5) legs. The desk will be exactly 30 inches wide. meaning it will fit most doorways but has the potential not to. Therefore im looking at different solutions to the leg situation including ones that could be removed and reattached once or twice without breaking etc. also curious how to best support thew table in the middle to reduce possible sag.

6) any other concerns or glaring errors I may have made that you guys see. anything that looks like it could be an issue please let me know, very possible I could have overlooked it.

Thanks so much everyone!
