How long does it take your cpu to reach those temperatures?

Even the crappiest airflow in your case shouldn't cause this (as long as the back fan is working and sucking the hot heat out of the case).

If your cpu reaches the 70+ temps almost immediatly (within a minute or two) then your cooler is either not mounted with enough pressure or straight up broken to the point where it can't take the heat of the die.

If it takes 5minutes or longer then your heatsink is taking the heat of the cpu but can't dissipate it fast enough ... which means you should take a closer look at the fan(s)

it doesn't reach 70+ unless im streaming, recording, and playing a game at the same time and even then I have to be doing that for a few hours. I fixed the initial temp issue. They can still get pretty high tho.

sry am i missing something about this post here or did you realy expect the temps not to skyrocket under a load that basically puts all your cores boost into high gear for several hours?

That's one hell of a stress test.
