TV tuner recommendations

tommy-b-10

Hey guys.

So I'm getting rid of my TV in the bedroom and was wondering what you would recommend in terms of a TV tuner card.

Im not looking to spend much at all.

Is this a good product: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-AVerMedia-H753-Hybrid-Analog-DVB-T-TV-Tuner-Card-/221313064540?pt=AU_Components&hash=item3387495e5c&_uhb=1

Cheers!

Not familiar with that particular product, but Avermedia tend to make pretty solid stuff. DVB-T is the standard definition protocol though, if you're after HDTV you'll need DVB-T2 - although those tuners are naturally more expensive. You would also need a dual tuner if you wanted to record one show whilst you watch another; this would only allow you to watch a show and record it at the same time. Assuming you're just after something pretty basic though, I'd imagine this would do the job.

Check some actual reviews though :)
