WD My Cloud Installer not detecting

Hi, like the title says, the WD My cloud installer (mc_windows_setup.exe) isn't detecting my WD My Cloud even tho I managed to install their other app on it and put files in. They say the LED must stay steady blue but it has been for at least a couple hours. I knew this thing would be a ton of problem from the reviews but I was expecting it to at least detect it... I didn't wanted to blow 500$ just to watch movies from my couch so that's what I got. If anyone has one of these and knows hot to fix it, I'd greatly appreciate some help. Thanks
