As most of you know, AMD is releasing new APUs on the 28nm lithography, and also, so far, the most powerful tablet APU we've had is the Z-60, a dual core bobcat, with 160 VLIW stream processors.

But that's changing, after looking the processor list up and down, We're getting quad core AMD Tablets!

There are 3 new CPUs coming in under the temash platform, the A4-1250, the A4-1350, & the A6-1450.

Now I'm not interested in the A4s, those are dual cores, and yes, while they will bring performance up from the Z-60 (28 nm vs 32, jaguar vs bobcat), they're overshadowed by the A6-1450, A quad core x86 tablet processor, with 128 CGN stream processors. (128 in the A4-1350, 80 in the A4-1250)

At the same time, Intel's new Atom is also making large improvements, so it may be intresting to see how it stacks up against the A6.

What are your thoughts?

Finally the minecraft experience on a portable device that doesn't suck (I hope the ps vita release will be good)

Hmmmm, PS vita + A6-1450? would be amazing!

I'm personally waiting for an A6 tablet to throw Fedora 19 on, for a Pc away from home.
