the i5 will very likely bottleneck the gtx 1080ti, it is already struggling in games at 1080p with a gtx 1070. you'll also get more fps drops and stuttering with the i5 compared to the i7.

i would recommend my build; you're getting a cpu that will provide much smoother framerates with less fps drops and stuttering, a far better cooler, double the hdd capacity and the option to SLI later on.

yes, that will be the best. but if you aren't running a 1440p 144hz monitor or 4k monitor, you probably don't need a 1080ti.

Great build, but imho i would buy a 7700 non k with a b250 motherboard and with those 70$ that you save i would buy a bigger ssd, or a nicer case
