The pc was recently assembled. Booted normally first time. Installed windows and drivers. Every device recognized in the Device Manager. So i decided to do some stress testing in order to check for stability issues.

Ran AIDA, and upon running it it couldn't detect my motherboard. Speccy detected it normally (not sure if important info). Anyway, after turning on AIDA stability test, after a few minutes it said hardware failure and stopped the test. No BSOD, no lockup freeze or anything, just stopped the test. Temps were normal for the short time it ran. I then ran memtest, after 10 minutes there were about 500 errors. I removed stick from B2 slot and left only one stick in A2 slot. Reran the test, not same amount of errors, not same test errors, but still errors.

So at the moment i'm in the process of testing each stick in each slot. If i get errors in all tests what does that mean? How do i determine if Mobo is the culprit or the RAM or even the CPU.

Ideas welcome, tnx

Oh and bios was updated

EDIT: 1 stick was ran in all 4 slots, memtest threw errors.

Current state, 1 stick all 4 slots = errors, 2nd stick = errors in A2 slot. Will run tests for 2nd stick in other 3 slots.

Small update and bump if anyone cares. I ran intel burn test at high settings for 10 passes no problems. I set the settings to maximum the test failed after 2nd pass. Intel extreme tuning utility stress on cpu passed. Aida still fails stability within minutes. CPU temps were in high 40's to low 50's in 18 degree ambient.
