PSU or Cable Connections

Just completed a new build using Phanteks Enthoo Pro M chassis, Asus Prime Z270-K M/B, EVGA SuperNOVA  G2 650 fully modular PSU.

 On switching on PSU get LED lights on M/B but no power when pressing start switch on case. Double checked cable connections at M/B and PSU still nothing when pressing start switch. Removed PSU from chassis pressed start switch and initially no power but by moving PSU power came on. I finally was able to get stable power supply but only with PSU outside the chassis,  standing on it's end (power switch down). At this point I was able to update the bios, install windows and download some progs. from the internet. At the end of this session. I shut down and restarted (with PSU in same position) and all was normal but as soon as I moved the PSU unit the power failed. Don't know what else to try, any ideas on what action I can take?

Push the power cable harder in the back of your PSU. The 110/220 volt power cable that is.

 

Disconnect all your computer hardware, and try to "hotwire" your PSU.
