Hi guys!

I recently got my tax returns, and i was thinking that i might aswell upgrade my pc.

Right now im running this:

I7 3770K

GTX 680

16gb ram.

So i was wondering if i should just keep my cpu and only upgrade my graphics card, or if my cpu is starting to become slow aswell.

Whats your thought and ideas?

My budget is 750 dollars.

CPU should still be perfectly fine, so long as you're not doing content creation/3d rendering etc.

Want to know which mobo to get?

Spoiler

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.

Only you know what you need to do with your computer, so nobody's really qualified to answer this question except for you.

For 750 I would vote to get a 1070 and a good cooler for that CPU (if you dont already have one) and overclock it (If you haven't). After that then maybe a new SSD if you dont have one. Or a better PSU if yours isn't the best. A full list of your current build would be really nice though to see :P

CPU: I5 4590 Motherboard: ASROCK H97 Pro4 Ram: XPG 16gb v2.0 4x4 kit  GPU: Gigabyte GTX 970 PSU: EVGA 550w Supernova G2 Storage: 128 gb Sandisk SSD + 525gb Mx300 SSD Cooling: Be Quiet! Shadow Rock LP Case: Zalman T2 Sound: Logitech Z506 5.1 Mouse: Razer Deathadder Chroma Keyboard: DBPower LED
