Suggest RAM Configuration.

I'm building a PC in April.

i5 6500 

MSI RX 470 Armor

 

My question is that should I get 2*4Gb DDR4 2400mhz right now or get 1*8Gb Stick? (I could get another 8 gig stick after 3-4 months.)

1x8GB.

 

Always go for leaving as much room for upgrades as you can.

 

Since it's DDR4, you could even go for 1x16GB so you'd be able to get 32GB later on.

If mobo is a h110 chipset and has only 2 ram slots then go 1x8

Else if mobo have 4 ram slot then get 2x4

It'd do alright. I'd go for a GTX 1060 or a used GTX 970 instead of the RX 470.
