Hi! My school computer runs windows 10 and after trying to install an update my windows update kind of stoped working. If i hit Try again it loads forever and when I use windows troubleshooter it manages not to fix the problem but makes windows update stop updating. I have tried to do a sfc /scannow and it only says that it found some problems but it can't fix them or something like that. My school has not yet updated to windows 10 anniversity update but is soon going to give it out to us. Any help on how I can fix windows?

Thanks in advance!

I assume your computer is joined to your school Domain.

Go to Settings > Update and Security > Windows Update. And click on the blue link: "Check online for update from Microsoft Update"

Clicking on the button "Check for Update", only pings the school servers for any updates that was decided to delivered to connected Windows 10 PCs.

Clicking the blue link, by-passes the school severs, and goes directly to Microsoft servers, like it does at home, and any computer not joined to a domain. Yes, this is new to Windows 10.

The process will take time, so just leave it there for several minutes.

Hope this helps in getting the latest version of Windows 10.
