Recovering broken S6 data

So I am wondering if there is anything i can do to recover my photos/videos etc. from my dead galaxy s6. What happened to it? About half a year i dropped it and it just started slowly breaking. A few months ago this started happening to my screen:

And now it's been dead for a couple of months, havent done anything with it, no charge no anything.

 

Is there anything i can do to recover the stuff on the phone?

As it's an android device, you should just be able to connect it to your computer with a usb cable. Albeit without full root access if you didn't root it ahead of time, but anything you downloaded or files you made should be totally fine to pull

Nothing happens when i plug the usb into the computer and the device

I'm more than sure that's a Samsung Note 4 in the picture? 

Does the phone charge, does it vibrate when you switch on?

Forgot to mention that is not my phone, just a random picture from google, that represents what started happening to my s6 screen. Shoulda specified that..

 

I plugged the device into my computer, which should charge it, the buttons did nothing, but i did not leave it plugged in for long

 

EDIT: the last time i tested the phone (few months ago) the screen was getting more purple daily, and the last day that i used the phone the whole screen was dead

Trying plugging it into a high amerpage USB wall socket, see if that charges it.

That worked, but when i plugged it into the computer it doesnt detect it. When i go into devices and printers it just says unspecified for SAMSUNG_android

I think there are many softwares can help you recover broken samsung phone.

Now when i plug it into the pc it says the folder is empty
