troubleshoot Temp Issues with 1060 single fan

I currently have a Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB Single Fan GPU that I got from amazon link below:

I have had this card for about 3 months now and it performs great in games except for the temps. 

I currently have 2 case fans and the GPU only has 1 fan and under load it gets up to about 87°C on

max settings. I might upgrade to 4 case fans.

I just want to know if that's too hot for the card or if I should go through with the 4 case fan thing and see if that might help.

EVGA cooling however is much better

At 100% load I get up to 82-83 degrees. (gaming or furmark)

I don't really think case fan can help much. Try reinstalling GPU drivers because those temps are quite high

Single fan 1060's run hot.  That's just the way it is.

That's great for them, but if you do a little searching you'll find countless people complaining about how hot the single fan 1060 models run.
