So I am finally at a place where I can afford to build myself PC that is to my liking, both in terms of looks and performance. But I have never built my own PC from scratch. So here it goes:

Case: It was easy for me, since the moment I saw Cooler Master Mastercase Maker 5 I was sold on it. I thought for some time to maybe go with Maker 5T, because its black and red colors would go nicely with my build, but I decided to stick with Maker 5 because I don't need glass panel behind the motherboard and because in few years I will want to build again in that same case and maybe in different colors.

CPU: It was again easy for me, I am able to afford it so I will go with Core i7 7700K

CPU Cooler: This is the first point at which I am basically lost. I want, at least for some time, stick with air cooling. I read many good reviews about Noctua NH-D15 and was almost set on including it in my PC but the problem is that it doesn't really fit in with colors I will have in my build and it covers some of RGB on my motherboard and covers my RAM. If there is any good performing air cooler out there which is in some neutral color like black or silver and that is smaller in size than Noctua one please let me know.

Motherboard: It wasn't easy to decide actually, but I have made my mind and it will be ASUS ROG Strix Z270-E Gaming

RAM: Here in Croatia there is really not that much of a choice when it comes to RAM. I am going with G.Skill Ripjaws V-Series 2x8GB 3000MHz kit because it is in red. I wanted to go with 2x16GB kit but it is available only at lower speeds here.

Storage: Kingston HyperX Savage 240GB SSD with Seagate BarraCuda 3TB 7200rpm HDD (and maybe one extra SSD with larger capacity down the road)

GPU: At first I thought to go with MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Gaming X 8GB model, but I have since decided to stick with my current GTX 950 2GB for another month or two and save up for GTX 1080 or GTX 1080Ti

PSU: This is the hardest one to decide really. I have found few PSUs that I can't decide between: Corsair RM650x, Corsair RM750i (do I really need 100W more?), EVGA SuperNOVA G3 650W, SEASONIC Prime 650W Titanium. Of all those RM650x is the cheapest one, SuperNOVA G3 is currently unavailable and Seasonic is almost twice the price or RM650x

Any thoughts and advices will be very much helpfull.

You can always hold off on the CPU Cooler purchase until you feel like you need it. Maybe make a jump from Stock to AIO as the difference is more noticeable.

Well i would go with 850EVOs for SSDs cause samsung but thats for you to choose.

Also your PSU choices seem to be more than you really need. But if good sleeves are what you want then sure.

RM650x is perfect for your needs. Good unit, reliable, and good support because it's Corsair.

Remember that the 1080Ti needs 300W, and that's more than half a 550W PSU so it'll spin up the fans a hell of a lot more.

Boards can use 15-75w, and RAM 5w/dimm at stock or more when OC'd.

CPU's 95W + you need some headroom for OC.

Look for Corsair LPX, especially in Red. It's quite nice memory, it's not as gamery as the G.Skill kits.

idk

I still think your fine with that amount of watt really, as parts don't really take more power when you upgrade if you have high class parts.

for PSU: Get the cheapest one in your list, which is the RM650X. it's definitely good enough unless you plan to SLI.

for the cooler: Dark rock makes some nice black air coolers, but other than that, it's hard to find air coolers in colors that are not silver or black. if you don't plan on overclocking, just keep the stock cooler, and then get an AIO when you want to overclock.

if you do want to overclock, then you can choose either a beefy air cooler, which will cover up quite a bit of your board, or a nice 240mm rad, which will be smaller on the motherboard, and will cover up less of your glorious RGB.

Well, that is a thing...K CPUs don't come with stock cooler, and the one I have currently probably won't fit. It is stock Intel cooler for socket 775 I got when I bought the PC with Core 2 Duo E6300 CPU. I have used it even though I changed the CPU when I found E8400 on Ebay for 9$.

I plan on overclocking eventually, but for now I would like to keep it on stock speeds. Will 212 Evo do the good job of cooling it on stock speeds?
