Microphone leaking audio issues

Go to solution Solved by keenhydra,

It might be a faulty headset, have you tried contacting Logitech with this issue?

For all else I'm not sure what you could do, one option I would try is (assuming you use front panel connectors) switch to the back I/O and try it from there or extend one of the cables to the back and keep one on the front panel.

Maybe check if Realtech assigns the right ports for the right job.

If all else fails.. get a separate mic and set that up, might be cheaper than getting a USB headset.

Hello,

I've got an issue where my microphone headset leaks audio that my system is playing when I try to communicate.

Like when playing Overwatch everytime I try to speak I get complaints saying they can hear my game sounds when I talk. Happens when I'm playing music in the background too.

I've tried googling the issue but most of them say "get a USB headset" cuz the "system gets confused" when connected by 3.5mm jack headsets.

But the thing is most of my friends have jacked headsets too and sound doesn't leak for them as it does for me.

Is there any solution possible for my situation?

P.S - Before it's repeated, yes my drivers and BIOS are up-to-date. I manually check them everyday.

Sound settings are - Volume at 96, Boost at 0dB

Components are-
Headset - Logitech G230

Motherboard - MSI Gaming M5

OS - Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit

Audio Driver - Realtek HD Audio 6.0.1.8059 (ALC1150 Codec)

                       Nahimic 2 v2.3.14
