cpu fan not working

Does it when the CPU has all of it's cores pinned at 100%?

Put the CPU under full load by using Aida 64, then tell me what the fan does.

So that means you've got a fan stop mode on at a certain temp and when it goes over the fan will start.

If you have an Asus motherboard then download AI Suite 3, if it isn't then I'd go in the BIOS.

I'd still look for a fan control program that will let you reset all of the fan profiles.

No most good AIB GPU'S from this generation have this mode as standard but when it keeps spinning and stopping every few seconds it can become annoying.

well ik that gpus have this new tech but ive never seen a cpu doing this before
