im trying to multy boot

 windows 7 

 linux mint

 parrot os 

 tails 

 

im starting off by installing windows 7 from a cd. 

im currently getting an error when triyng to install windows to a partition so im clearing out the drive and using gpatred to sort things out. 

 

what partition table whould i make on g parted? 

 

im going to install windows then shirnk the drive for the linux systems 

should i do something else ?

 

HARDDRIVE

hmm... you don't have much room for partitions with a 240gb ssd. I'd recommend for that many petitions a 1TB HDD or SSD. You might find a way, but there will be so little space...

240GB is going to be tight for 4 Operating Systems. Please tell me you have a secondary drive for storage.

 

Edit: I actually don't know if you can make that many partitions. Windows itself will have 3 partitions.

Ok so since nobody actually mentioned it, why do you want to do a 4-way multiboot including 2 pentesting Linux distributions? do you know what they are for?

This would be much easier for you if you just had Windows 7 and Linux Mint.
Also, do GPT. Windows 7 handles GPT fine (assuming you use a SP1 install disk)

i do know the various differences in the os's but im taking this on to see my understanding of just loading up a drive with alot of os's , 

currently im just runing parrot and wind 7, theyve been holding up. all though i think im going to switch back to kali
