True you don't.. but you will notice a significant performance increase and the HHD will somewhat bottle neck your speed.

 

I would consider a 128/256gb Samsung evo 850 or 840 series. Install Operating system and any running applications.. Use HHD for data and personal storage. This also makes it easy to reinstall the OS if required.

You should get a SSD. Big enough for your OS and some Games. Its alot faster most of the time.

Get a 1050 TI instead of normal 1050, it's not that much more expensive, and instead you're getting  2x more vram and more performance
