Overwatch Locked FPS??

Having issues with my overwatch settings lately.

 

For some reason no matter what I do the FPS tracker (that the game provides) will not display over 60fps. It just flickers from 59-60.

 

Even when at the lowest settings it still does this. I have tried setting to custom (300), Display based yet nothing happens.

 

Has anyone else dealt with this?

Turn off vsync.

The main problem is that you choose to limit to 60 fps on your resolution. You have to be careful when selecting your resolution in overwatch. Vsync by itself doesn't just limit you to 60 fps.
