Project Darklight - Proposed Idea

Hey guys, so I had started Project Darklight at the beginning of this year and hope to be completing it by the end.

I have an idea for what I want to do and I was wondering if I could get some feedback on it.  Maybe some suggestions on what to change?

This is my build right now.

My plan is to put the HDD and SSD to the back of the case, behind the motherboard with some heavy duty velcro.

Then take out the HDD cages and the drive bays.

I'd then put a 360mm rad where the bays were and attach a res to the rad, then a pump under the res.  Have a 240mm rad on the top of the case and I'd be cooling my CPU and GPU.

Heres something I drew up really fast.

This is my parts list if you think any changes should be made let me know please.

Wouldn't a 360 on top and a 240 up front be easier to modify? as the front 5.25" covers would get in the way of your proposed 360mm rad location?

i would be removing the hdd cages and 5.25 bbays and then the covers for the bays are nearly flat and mesh so they shouldnt affect anything

No, unless you want to drill 100 holes in the top.

But yeah, looking pretty good.

Note that I'm not responsible for eye damage due to poor grammar and spelling.

Okay so I think ive come up with a solution but it would be great to hear some feedback on it.

The fans for the case mount on the hard drive cages (shown in red)

But I noticed some holes that didn't have an apparent purpose (light blue, cyan)

So my idea is to have the radiator flat on the bottom of the case so that nothing will be supporting it off the 'ground' but then what if the rad falls over or something? I have the solution.

I could pretty much just get some pieces of metal, little rectangles, and secure them in the holes (cyan), and then secure the other end of the bracket to the fans on the rad or to the rad itself.

What do you guys think?

Then the metal brackets, in purple, just to hold the rad from falling over.
