So I just built a new computer with all brand new purchased items none are pre owned or anything (so I know it's not a failing piece, maybe...?)

AMD fx 8350 @ 4.4ghz,

xfx Rx 480 RS 8gb,

1tb Western digital caviar blue

2tb Western digital black

8GB (2x4gb) ddr3 hyper x,

Asus m5a99fx pro r2.0

uphere design 120mm closed loop aio water cooler,

EVGA 600w psu.

[Insert and hate here], anyways I tried overclocking and I think I did it right (if anyone would be so kinda as to link some overclocking guide it would be very much appreciated) I may have just done it works and that could be my problem. However whenever I run a game; most noticeably on Ubisoft games ex: watchdogs 2 or far cry primal, my computer will run them for a while and then just powers off. At first I thought maybe the PSU was getting too hot since my radiator was touching it, when I took it apart to look at it the radiator and PSU were cool to the touch. I've tried moving the radiator to the front of my case same result. Any help would be very much appreciated.

I assume you did not validate your OC. You could be getting those shutdowns from an unstable overclock.

I ran it for a few hours in prime 95? (I think that's what is called) no copies were shut off. Is there another software I should try to make sure?

Try overclocking at a slightly lower speed you might be pushing it a bit too far causing the CPU to overheat. Could I ask what you are overclocking it too?

Okay, i mostly ran it at 4.4 GHz. When it started acting up I lowered it back down to default 4.0ghz, and used the default settings with the exception of power saving off.

Be careful with P95, its kinda like a power virus on the newer versions. You should always run more than one program to validate an OC, since they stress your CPU in different ways

Okay, I did not know that. Do you have any other recommendations for validation?

Aida 64, Realbench and other programs can be used to have a nice mix of validations.

4113.61 MHz is the current clock speed

The mobo is very good and so are the temps. I hope you meant 1.2 volts, and I think there lies your problem. For the FX series 1.2v is rather low.

Your 8350 Overclock might be the problem try reverting to the factory 4GHz, if the problem is still there try the power supply looka t all the connections and check if everything is connect properly.
