Shadowplay massive fps drop

Hi,

 

I'm always using shadowplay while gaming to capture funny moments. But i recently had to turn it of because it massively impacted my framerate. Not by 10 or 20 fps, but to 10 or 20 fps. For example CS:GO, i usually run it on +-300 fps, but when shadowplay is turned on it doesnt reach the 20's. My setup is an i7 6700k with a gtx 1070 and 16 gigs of ram. Anyone knows whats the problem and/or how to fix it so i can use shadowplay again?

It is known for shadow-play to always give a %10-%20 FPS drop but this is weird how it used to work

CPU spikes at about 30% in game...

yeah same for me, was working fine before the last big update.

though i'm running older hardware, so i thought that was the reason.
(i5-3570k, gtx670).

 

Though this may not matter but are you sending your gameplay footage to another drive (non windows and non game drive)
