Need help with z87 build

Hi guys, I've started my new build for z87. Now I know it's better to save and get everything at once rather than grab parts over time, however I'll take less shit from my wife If I buy parts over a few months. Opposed to dropping $3000 all at once. Now the question is I have read z87 boards will be dual channel DDR 3 and the ram I'm looking at is the gskill ripjaws z 2400 I just don't know if it will work out of the box because it says it's for ivy bridge what do you guys think?

also I will get a high end mobo and CPU

Parts I have so far

C70 in white, xfx 1050w gold psu and an asus blueray burner

RAM is basically universally compatible. You can order parts all at once but I'd try to save the CPU, GPU, and board and buy those last all at once if possible, those are the things that move quickest.

Are they parts you physically have or parts you plan on getting?

I have the case power supply and blueray drive. I will wait and get mobo CPU and the gpu's last when ever the board and CPU is released. I have heard june so I would like to everything else ready to go for then
