So I've overclocked a few different CPUs in the past, but I always had help, and I'm asking for some help again! Can't find any good guides on overclocking Richland APUs...So I thought I'd ask here.

BTW this is not my main PC (in the sig bellow) .

So it comes at 4.1 stock I think , with boost to 4.4Ghz , and I'm thinking I would like to try to get it to 4.6Ghz or maybe 4.8Ghz, but I'll need the temps to be fairly good , as it will be running about 12 hours a day.

Can anyone tell me how much to push up the voltage each time I go up 100Mhz? And should I use the Multiplier or Frequency , or both? Also are there any other things I should be aware of /change?

Few things you might wanna know :

Going to be using the BIOS to change the settings.

I'm using a Corsair H80i closed loop cooler.

I have 8gb 1600mhz ram

AsRock FM2A85X Extreme4 ATX motherboard

Good airflow ( 2 140mm exhausts , 3 120mm intakes + the H80i is set as an intake)

Thanks guys in advance , and sorry for being a leech :)

You should overclock it like another CPU. So just put down the voltage to about 1.2V and then see if it boots. And increase the frequency(Mulitplier) by a little bit until your happy. Then stress test and bench(Optional) :)

Quote me to get a reply!

Being a the lazy little troll that I am, I overclocked my 5800k to 4.8ghz with air cooling... But I just use the "auto" setting for voltage lol

And is it stable? With prime 95?
