Laptop recomendation

I've been out of the loop for a while now with PC hardware etc. and I was asked to recommend a $700 usd laptop. It won't be used for gaming. I figured I would just go with a good brand then find something in the price range but I don't really know which brand is the best. Any suggestions?

2500k @ 4.8, R9 290x, 256GB Vertex 4, Filco Majestouch 2 Tenkeyless Brown, Logitech G602 Mouse, Kingwin Lazer 1000w Platinum PSU, Corsair Dominator Platinum RAM 8GB @1866, Asrock Extreme 3 Gen 3, Xonar U7, Sennheiser 598, Switch 810, Coolermaster Hyper 212 with 1x Noctua nf-f12

What would you be using it for?  Any screen size preference?

It's going to be used for college I believe. 13 inch is probably a good size.

@Captain3xtreme Here' a good choice and you can use it for some light to medium gaming as well: Acer Aspire E5-574G.
CPU: Intel Core i5-6200U
RAM: 8GB DDR4
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 940MX 2GB GDDR5
Storage: 1TB HDD

Monitor: 15.6" 1080p Display
OS: Windows 10 Home 64-bit

If you prefer a speedier, SSD variant, there's the Acer Aspire E5-575G which has a 256GB SSD instead of a 1TB HDD. :)

My Daily Driver:

Acer Predator Helios 300
»« Intel Core i5-8300H »« 16GB DDR4 RAM »« NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB »« Silicon Power A60 512 GB M.2 SSD »«
Toshiba PC L200 1 TB HDD »« Microsoft Windows 10 Home »«

stay away from acer, unless you like talking to a useless support all the time.

Since you are in college then I would recommend getting a business class laptop, since they are build to take a beating. Maybe check out dell outlet and look at latitudes and precision or get a ThinkPad L460/470

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

My main Headphones and IEMs:  K612 pro, HD 25 and Ultimate Ears Reference Monitor, HD 580 with HD 600 grills

DAC and AMP: RME ADI 2 DAC

Speakers: Genelec 8040, System Audio SA205

Receiver: Denon AVR-1612

Desktop: R7 1700, GTX 1080  RX 580 8GB and other stuff

Laptop: ThinkPad P50: i7 6820HQ, M2000M. ThinkPad T420s: i7 2640M, NVS 4200M

Feel free to pm me if you have a question for me or quote me. If you want to hear what I have to say about something just tag me.
