X99 Xeon Help

So I just got a Xeon E5-2650L V3 ( https://ark.intel.com/products/81903/Intel-Xeon-Processor-E5-2650L-v3-30M-Cache-1_80-GHz ) second hand for pretty cheap and I'm not quite sure if you can just use any X99 board or not (specifically https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA9H53ZX8823 ) I've heard some places say that some motherboards wont fully saturate all xeons which im not conerned about I just need it to work as a node in a render farm for cinema 4d. since I'm also not sure, do I have to buy ECC memory or is it optional. Thanks

It'll work in any X99 board.
