Thumbs up from me. Case is alright, and there's room to move with a H110 mobo, but it may not be updated. Get an i3-6100 instead for the extra $25. It turbos higher and IMO it's better. PSU is good, and it's solid overall.

It is not. The RX Gigabyte G1 is known to be bad. Also some skylake mobo will need a BIOS update to use kaby lake cpus, they might need skylake cpu first to do so

The pentiums okay for now as i will update my bios. I need extra bucks for a freesync monitor so the pentium is my option. But thanks

tell that to intel why they are not releasing better mainstream processor. the old i7 2600k is still a really good buy.

SandyBridge is literally the oldest architecture.. an i5 4670K is on par with that i7 when OC'd.

I'd recommend IVB or higher, and that's literally it

your using the term literally wrong the oldest i series cpus are the Bloomfield. the older i5 would be a good buy if OP dosent have a plan to upgrade. if this is a temporary setup i would suggest a Pentium so OP can save up money and buy a i5 or a i7.

moved to new build planning

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.
