Looking for laptop

Hi LTT forums,

I'm looking for a laptop below $1500 CAD for streaming movies, tv shows, etc. and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations. I won't be gaming on it, just streaming videos really. A 15-inch screen would be nice along with an SSD. I looked at a couple laptops like the Razer Blade Stealth and the Macbook Air but was wondering if anyone had any better suggestions. The Dell Inspiron 17 5000 5755 seemed pretty good but I don't have the best experiences with Dell.

You can definitely get a laptop for your needs for around 500-600 CAD

 

are you shopping for form > function (will be more expensive but will get the job done)
or function > form (will be less expensive but will also get the job done)
