Asus Z270E

Im building a new PC in a few weeks and plan on getting the Asus Strix Z270E mobo which has 2 m.2 slots. I plan on getting the intel 600p 512GB. Does it matter if I use the top slot or bottom slot? Thanks for the help.

Never thought lol, looked online a few places and no one said.  Its the simple things that sometime you over think. Thanks lol  ill go see if it says.

It shouldn't matter, they should have the same speeds/bandwidth. Atleast with Asus, I've checked before

just got done looking through, If you use the bottom one it disables your SATA 1 port If you use the top it disables SATA 5 and 6

It won't matter mutch. It will be a tiny bit slower due to latency in communication but it won't matter.
