Yep. I assume they got him to do the video because he plays CS:GO a lot. From watching the video, it seems to be a matter of there being a difference "on paper" so to speak, but one matt can feel faster or slower than another, even if it's not. It's going to be a matter of personal preference more than anything else.

Greetings.I am an low sens gamer and i wonder what would be better for me: an speedier type of mat (ex. Goliathus Speed) or an more control-oriented mat (QCK Heavy/Goliathus Control)?

It makes no difference, it's just marketing. A smooth, consistent surface is important, that's it.

your statement is kind of hilarious since there is a vid from LTT that proves it wrong:

yeah,i edited the link. my fault

From my perspective, a slight difference in how fast the mouse moves on a slight tilt isn't going to make any difference when you're using your arm to move it, unless it takes a lot of effort for you to move a mouse. In that video, Edzel even says that the speed feels pretty much the same, as well as saying the mouse matt he used, he thought was faster, but was actually slower. While there may technically be a difference, it looks like it's not something you can actually notice without it just being a placebo effect.
