New headphones

Hi, I am in the market for some new headphones. My cloud IIs have served me well, but cannot hold true to a normal pair of cans. I need a pair that are comfortable, balanced and sound good. They need to be around 100-200 USD. Thank you.

I also have a HD 558 with the foam and 3.5mm mods and they're really nice. very balanced sound, though bass is a bit underwhelming.

Kind sir, can you tell me what are difference between the 598s and the 558s?

AFAIK there's little to no difference in regards to sound signature. if you do the foam mod on the 558 it'll sound even more identical to the 598. 

 

though the 598 has a memory foam headrest if you like that
