Laptop RAM compatibility

Hi!

 

I am a little bit confused about RAM upgrade.

I want to upgrade my old laptop RAM from 4GB to 8GB and I am not able to find reasonably priced exactly the same DDR3-SODIMM stick. So I am worried that the new stick will not be compatible with the old one (cannot decide among 2 choices).

Planned RAM stick #1: Kingston RAM
Planned RAM stick #2: ADATA RAM

 

Will the old one work with one of those? Kingston is cheaper but ADATA is the same manufacturer (more compatibility?).
