Smartphone suggestions

Hello everyone....so my phone just up and died(Lumia 1520) and now I need a new one. I am looking for something smaller because that one was way too big, it was 6". I like the size of Sony Xperia Compact phones(4,6"). I would love to get that but it is a bit expensive(X compact is 500€). I m looking somwhere in 200-300€ range. something small, fast, reliable. It can be Android or windows phone I don't really care. I would love to hear some suggeations

Like peej suggested the op3 is good. The droid turbo is also good at around 150 (I'm guessing, it may be higher or lower) on ebay new although it came out in 2014 it has great specs, but no fingerprint sensor if that's a necessity for you. I got mine for 180 usd 7 months ago.

Thank you all....I ended up buying Huawei P9 Lite for 200€. Great performer so far and great price.
