Hello everyone, I am currently using a define r4 with 4 fans in it. I am looking for an automatic fan controller. My Gigabyte z77 ud5h has only one port that can control non pwm fans and the fan control is very rudimentary. I don't even want to try and use Corsair Link again(shudder...). The only other auto fan controller I can think of is a T-balancer but I heard Linus saying its very hard to set up and he doesn't recommend it. Does anyone have any suggestions for a hardware based AUTO fan controller?

I am looking into the same thing. At the moment I have all fans running at 5V all the time using an adapter I made myself. Just simple Molex --> 2 wires --> 5 Ports for fans. That is all ok, but I want to shut the fans completely off in some situations depending on temperatures.

I thought about corsair link. Is it bad? There is literally no good review about it anywhere. T-balancer seems to be some obscure thing with thousands of features I don't need and looks quite somplicated to set up. I just want to switch fans on and off depending on temperatures.

EDIT: I don't want any displays or Slot cards or something like that. The thing as to be invisible.
