So I nuked my HDD on my Asus u47a and went to the boot menu and my boot options skipped p1 which should be partition 1, I compared it with another Asus laptop thats listing out p0 and p1

I have high suspicion the part I on is mussing due to infectious activity

P stands for priority not partition. And you don't want to boot to a nuked hard drive anyway. You need to boot to a bootable USB or CD. So the matshitadvd or usb device listed.
After you have a boot directory on the drive it will appear again.

You nuked the drive? There's nowhere for a rootkit to hide then. Boot priority 1 doesn't have a bootable partition on it. hence doesn't show up in the boot menu. Boot to the generic flash disk and run the windows installer. There you will be able to reformat and repartition the drive however you like. Then it will walk you through windows installation and will create a bootloader on the drive.

Wait its way way simpler than that. You simply don't have a Priority 1 set in your bios. You only have p0 which is your HDD and p2 as your disk drive. What other media would it have a choice to boot to? Its just ordered in the bios to skip 1 for whatever reason. Silly Asus.

Also, the DVD drive is not fake. That is the same exact brand that I have in my Asus q400a

i dont really see why it would skip priority for just one laptop since my other one had it, i just thought there was a root kit in my bios since then can stick in bio'es .. right? does nuking a hdd erase drivers from the mb er something, because when i run my win 10 iso i come uo with an error to select a driver to install,

So let me get this straight. You get to the windows installation screen and it asks you whether you want to upgrade or do a custom install. Then you select custom right?

Then you select your hard drive, and hit the new button. Then you select the partition you just created and select format. correct?

I literally did it last night on my laptop... It should be exactly as the video illustrates, if not you have some janky ISO and should download the ISO from the microsoft website.

Edit: At this point you can try sending picutres of what it looks like so i can further assist.

in your bios you should have something similar to a HDD configuration. Make sure that its not set to UEFI or whatever, make sure its set to IDE/Legacy

If all else fails, choose this drive to install. Its the Intel Rapid sotrage driver, unfortunately it only comes in the windows 7 flavor. Ill hunt down on intels website to see if they have a windows 10 version.

this is the link to the windows 10 release directly from intel. I would try this one first, given that switching to IDE did not work.
