ATX 12V power connector 4pin or 8pin?

So I'm about to buy a new mobo and I'm deciding between the msi b150m bazooka and the bazooka plus. Basically the only difference is the  atx 12v power connector, the normal has 4pin the plus has 8pin. What is the difference and does it even matter, if I'm using an i5 6500?

4 pin is located on older PSUS. From my experience, they are both exactly to same power draw from the wall. But, an 8 pin is good if you want to use that board for a while. It will let you upgrade to bigger chips without being worried about power.
