i have been using my setup for over a year now with no problems what so ever.

here is the pc specs: https://pcpartpicker.com/b/Y4KZxr
audio interface: ur22
studio monitors: two jbl 308 speakers and the jbl subwoofer to go with it.

so my problem is with static/interference. i can have my macbook pro plugged in just fine with no static out of the speakers. but with the pc the there slight static right off the bat of plugging it in and when the psu has supplied power. and in addition noises in the speakers happen when i interact with programs inside windows. it produces almost like squeeling or whininy noises while im using the computer. when i open windows or make a window full screen there will be static sounding interference in the speakers. i just moved my desk to a new spot but everything is basically connected in the same way. i have a usb2.0 cable going from the pc to the ur22 then 1/4 inch cables going to the jbl subwoofer, then xlr cables going into the jbl 308 monitors. everything is plugged into the same surge protector. it will produce the static even if the ur 22 output volume is all the way down. maybe its dust? idk. there isnt really any dust in the machine. and i clean the screens regularly.

the next problem is that when i open up a program called ableton live 9, and play a track it ends up being much much louder then say listening to something on soundcloud or youtube even though the output volume is in the same place. i can have the output volume on the ur22 all the way down and still hear the track playing faintly on the speakers. you turn the output volume on the ur22 up just slightly and it jumps up really fast compared to say listening to something on the browser.there no more smooth increase in volume. this didnt happen before moving the setup.

even worse, i go to load up a video game and the static is amplified. the minute the game turns on this loud screeching comes out of the speakers even if the output volume is all the way down. and its loud enough for me not to want to listen to it for more then a few seconds.just imagine that scene in dumb and dumber when jim carey says wanna hear the most annoying sound in the world? yeah just imagine that happening. i just dont get it. ill be sitting in the battleifled 1 menu clicking things in the menu and the screetching noise changed according to what im clicking. very much like how i described above with clicking things on the desktop or maximizing a window. its just much louder and more consistent... when im on the desktop those noises are much quieter and breif as something happens like a click or window change.

please help me. this is killing me. ive been trying to figure it out for the past 2 days. all of it started when i unplugged everything and moved my desk to the side wall 5 feet away. i just dont understand why this problem is occurring. none of this happens when i use this setup with the macbook pro. ive narrowed this problem down to something to do with the pc/ its cables (hardware or software). it cant be the ur22 or the the cable or anything else to do with the speakers after that because this doesnt occur with my macbook pro. which hints to me that it may be cables connected to the pc. because my mac obviously doesnt have all these cables like the pc. so to test this i have the ur22 connected to my macbook and have the pc running as well to see if just it being powered on  and the wifi card and peripherals running has any effect on the static.. and there was no difference in speaker performance. the mac worked flawlessly even with the pc on. i made sure when i moved everthing i was very careful. i know i didnt rough anything up.

any suggestions would be very appreciated. thanks!
