Astro sound quality is meh.. very gaming oriented sound sig.

Better get a HyperX Cloud 1, waaaaaaay better than the a40s.

yeah im going to be gaming primarily, sound bleed wont be a big issue for me it's quite quiet where i live and with the bass i like a little bit of bass not alot though.

Philips SHP9500 but they do have a spike in treble in some instances.

 

Audio Technica ATH AD500X have an even wider soundstage. I haven't personally tried these so ymmv.

 

Could also look through this thread here to get some more ideas.

 

 

 

 

 

If you also need a mic, I would recommend getting those Philips headphones I linked along with a V-Moda boom pro mic. It'll basically be just like a gaming headset, except that it's better.
