Taking data off an old SSD

Hi, This is my first post in the forums overall so if there is any problem with this post please say.

 

My problem is that I had a MacBook Pro but it had water spilt on it and broke this was replaced by insurance and I was given a new one with the old SSD seperate.

 

So I know have the old SSD but no way to read the data off of it, what is a cheap solution to pull the data off of the SSD?

The SSD isnt broken the old computer was.

can you plug the old ssd back in? You'll have to take it out. I think u can get a sata to usb cable like in those portble hard drives

Get a USB to SATA adapter. You can connect a 2.5 inch drive (including SSDS) directly to another computer without the need for a power adapter. I'll link one in a minute.

That one here in the US includes a power adapter for use with 3.5 inch drives.

Thank you both of you! Very helpful, i am going to try and source a cable from the UK but my issue is solved!
