Hardline bending

Is there a real need to have a bending jig or something like that to bend hardline or can you free hand? 

 

Also so is having a deburring tool 100 % required too? Or can I just use some same paper?

He is kinda good... lol but with an insert inside the tube you should be fine as long as you get the bend in the right spot and hold it long enough to cool in that position.

true, then once you let go, it's permanent.

The only issue with that method is the consistency of the bends, without experience you will probably end up with different bends. Whilst a jig isn't imperative I would find something you could use, beer bottle, or something with a smaller radius

Jigs/mandrels are very useful when it comes to making precise bends in very specific places on the tube. Not relevant for a single bend as you can just cut it to fit of course, but for a second bend after the first, for example a change of direction where you need it to end up in a very precise location, the mandrels come in VERY useful for that. Hard to really describe if you haven't done it, but there's no doubt in some instances they can be beneficial if you want things perfect.
