Help with upgrade/build

So i was wondering, would it be easy to upgrade my HP PC? Its a I3 has 4gb ram and no graphics card so i was planning on adding a gtx 1050 and 8gb ram so i can play some games on it but im not sure if/how it would work can i get some help?

I was also thinking of just building a PC instead but i currently only have enough money for the graphics card

 

All i plan on doing is playing games such as CSGO, GTA, Fallout, skyrim and a few others

Ok i will probably do this then and just gradually upgrade to a full custom pc

Yup. That's what I would do. Is there 1 ram stick out of 2 in there?

Yeah, get a second 4gb stick for 8gb total. Make sure it's ddr3

When i boot the PC now it just shows the bios and doesnt load windows? Why is this?

 

Edit: if I use the graphics from the CPU/mobo it boots to windows but windows says " an error occurred we will restart for you", but doesn't restart

Update: Please help, i can get the PC running using integrated graphics but my graphics card wont work. It doesn't show in device manager and drivers wont install because it cant detect it.
