hi everyone,,,i have a question and i wonder if someone could help me with this.

i want to build a new desktop pc for 4k video and photo editting and rendering mainly.

the parts i chose are expensive so i decided to buy them separately during 3 to 6 months in order to avoid one time budget breaking payment.

but now i'm thinking what if some of these parts comes with a major upgrade during this process after i bought it,,,and i wanted to know how often pc part makers take a big step upgrading their products(specially CPU and motherboard)...i don't mind little upgrades but i don't like to see much better new parts with the same price when finally i'm done with buying the parts...

so i wanted to know is it possible to face a big upgrade after 3 to 6 month? sorry the question is a little weird but i think customize pc builders understand my concern. thanks.

(my intended system main parts are these : asus rampage v edition 10;intel core i7 6900k;geforce 1080 GPU...)

You're better off saving up money and buying all at once to avoid this.
