Early 2017 build

Pumpedxd

Wanting some advice on if this build is good for gaming and light productivity use. Wanting to pay around £1000, under this would be great but seems very unlikely, I can have a little lee-way between pricing. I can go a little higher, there's no concrete budget.

CPU AND MOTHERBOARD: These items are currently acting as placeholders as a rough price guide. Since this is a build for January and both AMD and NVIDIAs chips are rumoured for this time, I will probably be going with either the new Ryzen chips or Kabylake, when these two arrive. I would expect for this to add around £20 - 30, although prices are only rumoured and estimated. For the new chips, I would go with either the unlocked i5 from Intel or a performance equivalent Ryzen chip, if they end up releasing one.

Any advice on this build would be of great help.

Saying superior is wrong. It is better but not in a superior way

Yeah it looks good.

Maybe get 500 watts to get some more clearance.

Currently, the same Corsair PSU is on sale at £49.50 but for 550W. If I was to buy this part now, it wouldn't be possible for my requirements to be higher than this. Even if I get the new CPU architecture from either Intel or AMD.

yeah but then with that, whats the point in getting that cpu if you can't overclock because you don't have a capable motherboard?

It's £115 over the budget, however you will enjoy overclocking and a gtx 1070.

You can bring that down in price.

Change the memory to a cheaper one, i think Vengeance LPX is cheaper.

You could change the 850 evo to a CX300.

1TB drive.

Change the PSU to a G2
