Semi-Modular PSU Installation Help

I bought a SeaSonic G-650w power supply (I heard great things about it), which is semi-modular. I got everything hooked up nicely, but in the "mandatory cables" (the ones that come preattached), there was a cable labelled 'K' (8-pin). I couldn't find anything online about it, so is there something I'm missing?

 

- Motherboard is plugged in

- GPU is plugged in

the 8 pins  connection is breaking into 4+4 or 6+2

If 4+4 then CPU

If 6+2 then GPU

It's probably for the CPU if it says CPU on it and it's probably an 8-pin connection for your GPU if it says VGA or "peripheral" on it.
