I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card, but I'm not too sure where to start. I currently have a GeForce GTX 760 (192-Bit) OEM, a 500 W Power supply, and it is an ASUS desktop. Does anyone know of a graphics card that would be a decent upgrade from this that will work with my pc? I can provide any additional information necessary and I would rather not spend more than $200 USD on the card. I thank anyone who took the time out of their day to help, and have a wonderful holiday.

If you can squeeze 20 dollars more the rx 480 would be worth it, but you might be able to find them for just 200 as well.

Welcome to Maryland.

Would you happen to know if there would be any extra steps involved? I read somewhere ASUS has something in their PC's that is locked so that only OEM video cards would work, do you know if that's true or not? I'm sorry for so many questions, this is my first time trying to upgrade a pc

Alright, and if anything went wrong once the new card was installed for whatever reason, reinstalling the old card would more than likely fix the problem, correct?]

Yes, but remember to install AMD graphics drivers before you start using the new card if you go for one of their cards, going with GTX 1060 wouldnt require it.

One more thing, sorry for disturbing, but this is the correct Graphics card you are talking about for the 1060?

I'm sorry again for so many questions, this is my first time doing anything of this sort.

Yep that should work! keep in mind though that it only has 3gb of vram. Some games can use more than that depending on the filters and such.
