PC keeps crashing?

I have a new PC (had it for about 2 months) and it was fine for the first monthish, but recently, it's been crashing with almost every game, even things like CS:GO and Lego Star Wars, not just Fallout 4 and Watchdogs 2. Is there anything I can do to prevent it from crashing? If I try and restart my computer, it takes about 5-10 minutes after until it will actually boot up, otherwise it shows the windows logo with the spinning circle forever, it then goes into startup repair (after waiting 5-10 minutes before rebooting). Any idea? Cheers
