So this is just based on my personal experience with headphones, which isn't a ton.

If you can find the Sennheiser HD598 within your budget, I would get those. If not, then the Philips Fidelio L2 or even the Sennheiser HD558 would be good choices.

NOT THE TR VERSION THOUGH

Those are not good for anything. Not trying to sound like a dick, but I've used those before and they sound so muddy compared to actual headphones from companies who make professional sound equipment - and the "professional" stuff costs less.

I'm on the fence about wireless headphones for right now personally. I'm being hypocritical a little bit since I have a pair of Jaybird X3 in-ears, but I think overall the wireless audio quality is lacking a bit for right now. Bluetooth 5 is right around the corner, but I don't know when exactly we'll see that tech implemented in headphones, if at all.

I would try those somewhere before you buy if you can, or make sure to buy them with a good refund policy in case you don't like them.

perhaps the Philips SHP9500. they're open-back so soundstage will be good, which is important for gaming. it's also really comfortable judging from reviews

Those lack in bass a little bit compared to other stuff that OP could afford - I bring this up since in my opinion, a little bit of a bass kick for games is always nice.

Though I think if you were to stick some faux leather pads on there somehow, they might do the job fine.
