Hello all. I was looking into getting moonlight, an app that allows for gamestream on a non shield device. I was wondering if my wifi-ac-15 download and 1.2 upload would allow for 720p 60fps smooth gameplay. Also if it matters, the device that I'll be streaming from would be a moto g4 and yes I know that my pc is compatible with gamestream. Also if this matters, the motherboard I have has no ac support, so would I need a wifi adapter if I was plugging in via ethernet?

Thanks in advance.

I have a dual band router by the way that goes to 5ghz

5ghz and AC wifi are good for "IN THE BUILDING" use, meaning streaming from 1 device on your network to another device on your network, but they don't mean ANYTHING if your INTERNET (remember INTERNET and WIFI speeds are 2 different things) is to slow to handle the upload speeds required to play.

what I can't tell is whether everything runs through a server or if in home use will just use the home network, if everything has to go out to a server then come back in that will kill in home use aswell, and it's NOT because your network, it's because of your INTERNET.
