Hello Friends Bob here, new member on techenclave..
I am building my first gaming pc, budget is flexible.. May be with your experienced suggestions i can save some bucks ( who will not want to )

I am building a Black and White Gaming Pc ( so keeping that in mind i have decided to go with this products )
Here is my rig :
CPU - Intel i7 6700K - ₹26200
CPU Cooler - Corsair H110i GTX - ₹9200
Motherboard - MSI Krait Gaming 3x - ₹18500
SSD - Samsung 850 Evo 250GB - ₹7500
HDD - Western Digital Black 2TB - ₹9500
RAM - Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (8x2) 3000mhz - ₹8600
PSU - Corsair HX1000i - ₹17000
Case - Corsair Graphite 760 T ( white ) - ₹14500
GPU - Asus ROG Strix GTX 1080 - ₹72000
Display - BenQ XL2720Z - ₹39000 OR Benq XL2730Z - ₹49000
Keyboard - Razer DeathStalker Chroma RGB - ₹7500
Mouse - Corsair M 65 Pro ( White ) RGB - ₹7300
Bitfenix Alchemy 2.0 White Cable Kit - ₹12700

Total Pc Build - ₹259500 approx

I am leaning more towards 1080p gaming , that is why i decided to go with the benq xl2720z ( 1920 x 1080 ) but while researching more on this .. I read that qhd is better than 1080p for 27" inch monitor due to pixelation.. So i thought benq xl2730z ( 2560 x 1440 ) would be better.. Confused ..

I will be upgrading to a triple monitor setup, just to check whether a triple monitor setup can provide more immersive gaming experience .. Thats why i have decided to go with the gtx 1080, for triple monitor setup i need to sli a gtx 1080 or may be i have to run 3 gtx 1080's in order to push all those pixels.. Also if i have to run 3 gtx 1080's in sli , then i will be upgrading to x99 platform.. Triple monitor upgrade will be after 2-3 years. So that is not so important at the moment, but i thought i should share that as well, so that you'll can suggest accordingly..

I decided to post it on techenclave, so that i can get some experienced suggestions which will help me in many ways ( one of my friend who is an experienced member on techenclave told me to do so )

So please guys , suggest something better and best.. And please share your views on my rig. May be you'll can suggest something better.
Thanx in advance..

Regards.

This aint techenclave 9_9

If you're going to game at 1080P don't bother with a 1080gtx, its gonna be bottlenecked, drop to a 1070, however it is a great match for 1440P

Also, no games run 1080gtx in 3 way SLI, its purely for benchmarking, the max supported it 2 way

Oops sorry for that techenclave shit!! Building my first gaming build ( though i am planning it since a year )

So i took to techenclave and many other sites too, i forgot to erase techenclave. Sorry for that!

Coming back to the build.

As i have mentioned that i will be upgrading to a triple monitor setup, so can gtx 1070 (sli) push those pixels ?

if yes then i might drop the idea of getting an gtx 1080 and running them in sli later on..

Why not get an ultrawide 34 in 3440x1440p monitor? Since you're planning on SLI anyway.. 3 way SLI from what i have seen doubt it works properly on most games but i m not going to say its totally wothless even though nvidia officially doesnt support it. They have some KEY thing that allows 3 way and 4 way lol . I think 2 1080s at that resolution will do fine. X99 i think is a fantastic choice if u want to run cpu dependent games with expansions and everything...sims 3 with all expansions for example lags on my core i5 6500. Maybe thats because its an older game idk. There's my two cents. Happy Gaming

1. A 1000w PSU is not necessary for your proposed build. An 850w can handle an sli setup. Your choice though.

2. Ultra wide single monitor at 1440p is the way to go. Running sli will be trouble enough.

3. For ultra wide 1440p and gaming long into the future...just get the gtx 1080 or wait for gtx 1080 ti. And skip sli altogether

4. For gaming alone. An overclocked 6700k does wonderfully.

Just my opinion.

CPU: Ryzen 7 2700x cooled by Pure Rock Slim // RAM: Gskill Flare X 3200mhz CL14 2x16 32GB// GPU: Powercolor Red Devil RX 6650 XT 8GB// Motherboard: ASRock B450m Pro 4 // PSU: Seasonic G550 Gold 80+ // Storage: 4TB pcie nvme game drive, 512 GB m.2 sata3 OS Drive, 4 TB WD Red HDD // Monitor: Samsung S22D300 21.5" 1080p 60Hz, MSI 27" 1080p 144hz Freesync 1ms display // Peripherals:  Logitech fancy shmancy keyboard and moise with rgb and gaminess stuff, very fancy | Kingston HyperX Cloud Core headset
