Problems with NZXT CAM

I recently downloaded and installed NZXT CAM on my system and then left it at that without actually opening it (probably forgot about it after sometime; and yes I did do a restart). That was perhaps a week or two ago. Fast forward to earlier today, I was clearing my downloads folder and found the installer file. I checked my list of Programs in the start menu and somehow CAM wasn't anywhere to be found...

I then went on to download and install CAM on my MSI laptop. Install complete, restart, a new shortcut is on the desktop. Double-clicked it, and a Microsoft Redistributable C++ Visual 2012 (or something like that) installer popped out. I thought it was a pre-requisite to install CAM, so I got that installed too. After the restart, I still can't launch CAM, neither from the shortcut nor the launcher in the x86 Program Files.

Is anyone else getting these issues too? Has there been a fix I am not aware of?

I have cam installed and this hasn't happened to me. Try uninstalling (if it installed at all) and downloading and reinstalling.

I kinda did that with the MSI laptop; fresh install on a newly refreshed Windows 10. I Google'd for awhile and did read something about the latest update being broken, but beyond it I'm at a loss. I'll probably try again later today but if it doesn't show any signs of being fixed I might as well get another software.
